That fall, Tom packed his bags with his Navy squadron and traveled the world in their P3 airplanes on a deployment. Always keeping in touch. It became the highlight of Jane’s day hearing from Tom. He would tell her about the world and she would relay what was happening back home.

When he returned the following year, the two picked up where they left off. 

And, as they say, the rest is history.
